The location is good (subway near by and also Ding-Ding - tram). The shutle from the airport to the hotel is one of the best points.
The rooms are small but the rest is ok. The employees are not very kind and we have to ask everything (directions, etc) because they do not give any information.....even the map we had to ask.
Aside from the free 2 bottles of bottled water everyday, nothing more.
The rooms are too small, the place is not in Causeway Bay but in Tin Hau..
Location that easy to connnect to town. Also the area have facilitate for living, eating etc.
Service is not so good at hotel.
I like the design of the magic glass and the big screen television best during my stay.
The bathroom is small in the standard room and does not have a bathtub.
the location and the surrounds, being nestled in a neighbouorhood.
the room was small n tight especially for family wif kid. or at least the room provided for us. the furnishings' getting old. the reception staff were not too friendly or willing in providing info.
The room and the bathroom is spacious.
The staff in general do not smile and do not make an effort to be pleasant. They are not knowledgeable about tourist information. Free internet access is offered by many hotels but not here.
The location is very convenient. Just 5-10 mins walk to Metro Station. The room is clean.
The room is too small, especially the bathroom. We just managed to fit our two large luggage into the room. Also, perhaps my stay was just across China National Holiday and there are many mainland travellers staying at this hotel and make the hotel very noisy.
We like the waterflow and the magic glass in the shower. And the location is good, close to shopping (causewaybay area)
The size of the room was too small, and the staffs were lack of smile. The lobby area was dark and no painting, no flower.
The Empire Hotel is very comfortable, the room is clean, and the magic glass is very funny. But the room is a little small, bigger will be nice.
Very Clean, Enough Space in room, Total design and ambience is Simple & Chic Modern. Nice Location since its near to MTR station.
Nice design - kinda sleek and modern, clean and very private. No noisy guests during our stay - the kind of guests the hotel seem to attract are either business travelers or tourists who prefer and value privacy, something that our family likes. The Empire Kitchen (resto) served really good buffet during our first night - so yummy and with a good promo price (pay 1 for 2)!!
I booked at this hotel based on the premise in the website that it has the sea view - only to find that what is seen is only a small part of the sea and a huge chunk of old buildings around it! Also, the rooms looked a lot bigger in pictures - so for a family of 4 the twin bedroom was really squeezed..but since we were on budget.......its ok :-)
Not very friendly and slow Hotelstaff, Rooms are not really clean, 2 Dirty and sticky bedside tables, very, very small rooms The beds are only 1,80 meters long!!!
The room was stylish and bed very comfortable. Concierge (esp the tall guy) helped us alot with navigating around HK.
Maybe the reception staff could know a bit more English.
Convenient location and clean room
The lifts are too dark and you cannot see the buttons properly. As you need to tap the room card to operate the lift, it is a real inconvenience. Cannot understand why they do not increase the lighting level of the lift. It says a lot about the management that they tolerate this deficiency so long. There was a strong cigarette smell in the room when we checked in.
Location!!! Lots of good restaurants right around the corner. Less than a 2 minute walk to mtr station.
No hotel wifi: lobby, room, or exeuctive lounge. Had to walk to Victoria Park for goverement wifi (which is free by the way and only a few short blocks away). Executive lounge was a big let down. Not much of a drink selection up there, and even less of a food selection. Windows in the lounge are too hight to see the view when sitting.
